wearabowl is made with PUL (laminated polyester) which is a durable waterproof, non-plastic, non-toxic, vegan and food safe material. PUL is free of lead, heavy metals, BPA, phthalates and PVC. PUL is a common material used for cloth diaper covers and bibs. It is lightweight, breathable and hypoallergenic. Cleaning is simple with PUL fabric - it can simply be rinsed in the sink with a touch of mild detergent and air dried, or tumble dried on low. It is also machine washable (do not use bleach or oxy-type products). The fabric is made in the USA.
wearabowl is reusable, has longevity and is intended for daily use.
It is a product that can be introduced to children as soon as they are able to pick up their own snacks using their pincer grasp, and can be used for as long as it fits the child's thigh, and for as long as they wish to use it.
Even when children progress into their toddler and preschool years, they choose to continue using their wearabowl for snacking, or for holding small crafting items or toys, and continue to enjoy the convenience of having their hands free while keeping their chosen items secured in place on their lap.
